豊橋在住のカナダ人アーティストDavid Thomsonが豊橋の風景を描いた作品をウエアにしました。

デザイナー：David Alexander Thomson
David Alexander Thomson was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on February 27, 1965.
He grew up in the suburb of Fort Garry, enjoying ice hockey in the winters and soccer and baseball in the summers.
He was encouraged by his mother to pursue art as he also showed an interest in drawing.
Upon graduating high school in 1983, he entered the Faculty of Arts in the University of Manitoba,
eventually transferring to the School of Fine Art.
After graduating, he worked as a teaching assistant and spent his free time creating art and music in Winnipeg’s underground scene.
In 1989 he was invited to teach English in Japan and started working at an English language juku in Shinshiro, Aichi.
He eventually took over Queen’s English School with two business partners and together added Overseaz English Academy
and American English School to their enterprise.
David has been a musical performer for years in Japan currently plying with Campus Heights and Snack Mama.
He has recently taken up visual art again with the support of his band mate Kanako Haga.
David lives in Toyohashi with his wife and son.

デビッド アレクサンダー トムソンは、1965 年 2 月 27 日にカナダのマニトバ州ウィニペグで生まれました。
彼はフォート ギャリー郊外で育ち、冬はアイスホッケー、夏はサッカーと野球を楽しみました。
彼は絵を描くことにも興味を示していたため、母親から芸術を追求するよう勧められました。
1983 年に高校を卒業すると、マニトバ大学芸術学部に入学し、最終的に美術学部に編入しました。
卒業後、彼はティーチングアシスタントとして働き、自由時間をウィニペグのアンダーグラウンドシーンでアートや
音楽の創作に費やしました。
1989年に日本で英語を教えるよう招かれ、愛知県新城市の英語塾で働き始めた。
彼は最終的に 2 人のビジネス パートナーとともにクイーンズ イングリッシュ スクールを引き継ぎ、
一緒にオーバーシーズ イングリッシュ アカデミーとアメリカン イングリッシュ スクールを彼らの企業に加えました。
デビッドは日本で長年音楽活動をしており、現在はキャンパスハイツとスナックママで活動しています。
彼は最近、再びビジュアルアートを始めました。
デビッドは妻と息子とともに豊橋に住んでいます。
